Industry gets to feed us tens of liters of palm oil per year in ready-made meals and industrial food, while the amount of the healthier cold-pressed oils is only 4-6 l. The ratio should definitely be the other way round.
Good fats (fish, coconut, olive, butter, flax, camelina, cocoa, different nuts) can be 40-60 % of the energy intake. In this case, the body learns to burn fat both in food and in our bodies, especially if the amount of starchy carbohydrates is very small.
Such ketogenic food prevents efficiently obesity, diabetes and many other diseases, because bouncing blood sugar is a strong risk factor for health.
The most sensible thing to do is to use mayonnaise made of cold-pressed olive oil and virgin coconut oil mixture.
