Drugs and antibiotics in meat

Consumers do not always know at the meat counter whether the meat is domestic or foreign, grown with hormones and antibiotics.

Also the domestic ready-made and fast food manufacturers use in their products the cheapest meat that is produced by the worst methods.

There was an article in the Finnish Luomu (Organic) Magazine that the ingredient concentrations in GM soya, which is used a lot to produce cheap meat, were not the same as those in healthy fodder. Thus the GM fodder forms its own risk for meat-eaters, as has been repeatedly observed in animal tests. The risk is even graver for those who have eaten meat produced this way for two or three generations.
