Is drinking coffee good for you memory?

Well, then us Finns don’t have anything to worry about as we are the world leaders in coffee consumption. The 250 000 diagnosed with memory diseases, and as many undiagnosed, are apparently a statistical error. The experts’ forecast that the current poor brain health lifestyle will create another 250 000 in 20 years, is probably bullshit.

So we do not need to be worried about the hundreds of thousands of nurses that will be needed to take care of the predicted memory disease epidemic?

More coffee?? Don’t think so!

Fortunately, however, there are a lot of sensible people who rely more on high-quality preventive biochemical brain studies, according to which the brain health can be nurtured with good nutrition and lifestyle. Plenty of fish and on the days you don’t eat fish take fish oil pills, sunbathing level of vitamin D in the blood (120-200 nmol), a lot of (100 g) fiber to prevent intestinal inflammations, refraining from food rich in starchy carbohydrates that the official recommendations mention, good sleeping habits, low-stress life, a lot of sports, dance and music, as well as a happy social life guarantee the brain health certainly more effectively than drinking coffee; after almost all the current memory disease patients drank coffee for decades.
