Teenage basketball player with leg injury

I wish I’d thought of purchasing a saddle chair earlier, since it’s been close to eight weeks since my son sustained a tibial avulsion fracture which required surgery and repair with three screws and a wire. He still has another four weeks on crutches to go plus rehab, so being able to get out on the court for longer each day – in a balanced, upright and safe position is just what the doctor ordered! He tested it out straight away on his basketball court – made shooting so much more enjoyable for him, and provided him with a stable base to do what he loves!

Person with MS, home use

I use Salli Expert with  MultiAdjuster  seat. I have MS disease and I use the chair indoors. It makes things easy in kitchen, as it helps me to reach for things in cupboards. In toilet it is handy when I wash my hands and face or brush my teeth. It is also a great help when I need to move things from one place to another, because I can spin around on it.

Accessories are a good help in everyday life, and it is easier to move on Salli Expert than with a wheel chair. It is sturdy and safe, and the adjustable height is a good feature.

Salli Expert also provides good leg exercise and balance training when I move around while sitting on it.

Saddle chair Salli Twin is just perfect for playing the cello! The sitting position is natural and suitable for playing the instrument, and it is good that the inclination can be adjusted just the way I want.

I suffer from a slight lateral bending of the spine (scoliosis), and I have had the Salli saddle chair for a month now. Getting used to a saddle chair after a normal swivel chair was a bit difficult in the beginning. But after two weeks I noticed a build-up of muscle in my back area. Sitting on the saddle chair is a bit more difficult than on a normal swivel chair, but the posture improves. In retrospect, I’m glad about this acquisition and can highly recommend the Salli saddle chair.

Yesterday I picked up my new Salli Twin from my dealer in Amsterdam after its timely delivery in about 10 days. This dealer (Scholtens Werkplek) has been very helpful and patient in assisting with finding the right model from your product range, even providing a loaner Twin while my order was pending. I wish to express my thanks to you and your team for inventing, refining and bringing to market this excellent solution to the pernicious problems of working posture and back pain. While I am only 28 years old, for more than two years I have been suffering from nerve pain caused by problems with my lower back. I would feel a burning sensation all over both my legs whenever I sat down on a conventional chair. This made studying very difficult. Even worse, lying in bed wouldn’t provide any relief, the burning and spasms would come and go during the night keeping me awake. Now that my back is healing on my Salli I can finally sleep well again, and I can sit on conventional chairs (e.g. on a train) for longer and longer without discomfort. Again, my heartfelt thanks.

Altogether I can say: These days I go to Yoga only for fun, not anymore because of my back pain. I don’t have it anymore even if I am sitting every now and then for more than 10 hours in a row on the Salli Swing. Which is actually good: The chair activates and encourages you to stand up every once in a while. It is also just impossible to “twine” the legs in an unhealthy way around the chair like I always used to do while sitting on other chairs. I can fully recommend the Salli chair!

I fell on my bike when I was trying to avoid a car that was cutting in front of me. I broke my ankle, it was operated and I have to wear a cast for six weeks. I came home from hospital with crutches. Household chores and cooking were very difficult with crutches, as I couldn’t even carry a cup of coffee in my hand. I started to think that some kind of a chair with castors would be great. A traditional wheel chair was no good, because it is too low and I should be able to have my feet under the table. A work chair with castors? How about a saddle chair? I contacted a friend and his work place provided me with a Salli MultiAdjuster saddle chair. Now that I’m sitting on a functional chair I can work in the kitchen. It makes my life so much easier, as I cannot put any weight on my injured leg. The hospital physiotherapist showed me how to use the crutches but no other home medical equipment were mentioned. I don’t know if the hospital have saddle chairs for convalescents but based on my own experience they should have. I’m not going to give my saddle chair away as long as I have to wear the cast. The number one help, together with the crutches, is the saddle chair. I will continue using Salli saddle chair even after I’ve got rid of the cast. It is also an excellent idea for a birthday present for the elderly!

Lawyer

I have worked as a senior lawyer for 20+ years, before which I was a professional Rugby player. This combination has meant that my lower back has always caused me some problems. I had tried all manner of ergonomic seating. The only which has led to a demonstrable, marked improvement is Salli. I cannot recommend Salli seating highly enough, particularly for those of us who sit for long hours each day.

I had a rupture two years ago and even though it is now almost healed I still can not sit on regular chairs without having problems with the back again. I sit on the Salli chair in the office and vary it with a pilates ball and standing. Recently I sat in a car for six hours and got trouble again, but after taking the Salli chair to the expo with me and siting on it for a day the problems were gone. Thank you for a great product.

I love my beautiful chair from Salli that I use for office work. I’m really looking forward to have Sallis also in my home-office around the kitchen table. Highly recommended!

About 10 years ago I bought a Salli Saddle Chair for my office, since I had had a herniated disk.

Today I can say that not only this back problem is overcome, but I have noticed that there have also been advantages in genital health. Thanks to the divided seat surface of the saddle chair, a relaxed sitting is possible. In addition to the demonstrably improved PSA and libido values, even the potency has become stronger, which is beneficial for a loving partnership, too.

Retrospectively I can say: The purchase of a Salli Saddle Chair was a stroke of luck in many ways

My back started showing symptoms in 2006, and after a couple of years I was in a situation where I could not sit for longer than five minutes at a time. That’s when my physiotherapist suggested I should try a saddle chair, which makes you sit in a completely different position compared to a regular office chair.

I got myself a Salli MultiAdjuster chair and a Salli Manager table at my employer’s expense in autumn 2008. After a couple of weeks of getting used to the workstation and finding the right adjustments, going back to the conventional way of sitting was no longer an option. Now I can sit in front of my computer for three hours without even noticing.

Having an electrically height-adjustable table is a must if you are planning on using a saddle chair. When I change my sitting position I might also adjust the height of the table by a few centimeters. Sometimes it’s nice to work standing up and then the table needs to be even higher.

The versatile controls of the MultiAdjuster chair helped me to find a sitting position where my back doesn’t become numb or get locked. The two-part seat also eliminated pressure between the legs, which was clearly noticeable when I first tried a one-part seat. I also use the Nipsu support for my mouse-hand, wrists and elbows to keep my shoulders and neck relaxed.

As my back pains have eased off, I have enjoyed work more and been more efficient. I have recommended the Salli workstation to my co-workers as well, since in my opinion, an ergonomically correct workstation can prevent back problems from developing. Even the employer saves money, if he takes care that the employees stay fit enough to work.

My working days have always been largely spent in front of a computer screen. Years ago, neck pain, which was the sum of many factors, began to become a problem. Due to existing neck problems, I started using a saddle chair, Salli Nature Swing, as my office chair for the first time at my previous job. After getting used to it, the saddle chair and an electric table turned out to be the best possible combination. In a short time, both all neck problems and general numbness due to sitting disappeared. Several years went without back problems, until covid-19 hit and work moved to home office, which lacked these luxuries. The time spent at the home office quickly brought back the neck pain.

In the early days of the pandemic, I changed jobs and acquiring a Salli was a matter of course. However, it took me a year before I got round to getting Salli Nature SwingFit. Although I knew how to watch out for poor work ergonomics, that year showed that I missed the work ergonomics a saddle chair provides. An electric desk and a high quality saddle chair that will serve for years are definitely the best purchases for the office.

So why Salli Nature SwingFit? I have tried different saddle chairs over the years, but so far I have not found a more suitable model for myself than Salli. I like the surface of the Nature’s seat, which has a pleasant feel and appearance. The swing mechanism is essential, because one always moves a little at the workstation and the chair follows your movements. The Fit function, on the other hand, brings little adjustability.

My neck was very stiff and my feet hurt after sitting in front of my work desk for a long time. So, when I had the chance to try Salli Saddle Chair I seized the opportunity. First I had Salli MultiAdjuster in my home office, because I already had a height-adjustable table there. At the moment I have also Salli SwingFit at work. I prefer Salli SwingFit because of the slightly moving seat, it is very comfortable when I for example want to take a file from a bottom self. Salli chair lives up to its promise. The condition of my neck muscles, my posture and the circulation in my feet have all improved. It takes a few weeks to get used to Salli, but I can warmly recommend trying it.

Journalist

I’ve been working as a journalist and copywriter for 13 years now. Previously I hardly paid any attention to my posture because I had no problems with my back, I exercise a lot and consider myself to be in a good physical condition.

However, everything changed in 2012 when I was hit by a car while crossing a road. After having injuries, especially in my knees, the posture in which I work has become much more important.

On my Salli Saddle Chair I can sit in a relaxed, comfortable position with enough support, and my injured knee does not get tired like it did under the sitting pressure on a traditional chair. The circulation is better, and because I don’t get physically tired, I can work longer hours and be more effective. Coming back to work after the accident was made so much easier because of the swinging Salli Saddle Chair and the electrically adjustable table. I can say that my quality of life has really improved! I can work in various positions during the day, and even work standing.
I admit that I was a bit skeptical about saddle chairs, and especially about the adjustable table, but after having tried the combination I cannot understand why I didn’t acquire them earlier!

I can recommend Salli Saddle Chair and an electrically adjustable table from the bottom of my heart.

Office worker

I use my Salli Chin Chair and Small Office Desk at the office. They keep me energetic throughout the whole day. I also use this set up at home. It is beautiful, easy to move and doesn’t take much space. I even use them when reading or doing skincare and makeup in any corner I want. The height is easily adjusted and therefor it is suitable even for my child for reading or writing. All my family members love the Salli Saddle Chair and the desk!

Emma, office worker at Salli Hong Kong

I experienced a revolutionary change in my ability to concentrate when I started using the two seated Salli Saddle Chair. The Salli Small SwayFit is my everyday companion both at home and in the office. The slightly swinging seat keeps my core active and my pelvis tilted in the right position, so no pressure prevents the blood and fluids from circulating freely in the body. This results in more focus and better achievements.

Lucy, Office worker at Salli Shenzhen

I work in an office and use Salli Saddle Chair every day. I will not consider any other chair in the future. Before I got my Salli I had problems with the lower back. Since I got Salli and an electrically adjustable table I have had no more problems with my lower back. I have had this chair now for about two years. This chair is heavenly!

Salli Saddle Chair is fantastic to sit on, and it looks great, too. My back pains were relieved already during the first day when I used Salli; I used Salli for the whole day and my back didn’t hurt in the evening. This has never happened before. Quite unbelievable!

Pregnant woman

During my pregnancy I have really preferred Salli to the normal chair. My tail bone starts to ache very quickly if I sit for a long time on a traditional chair. By that I mean a chair on which the angles in the hips and knees are 90 degrees, and the legs are side by side while sitting. On those kind of chairs I also lose the good posture easily and start to slouch. When sitting on Salli I can pay better attention to my posture. It is also beneficial in Salli sitting that the weigh is evenly distributed on sitting bones and doesn’t make the tailbone hurt. My legs and back are in a natural position and nothing presses the stomach.

I especially like Salli SwingFit as it enables me to swing my pelvis during the workday. It is a lovely thought, both for me and the baby, that by doing so I can enhance the circulation in the stomach and pelvic areas, and legs. Also the little swelling that occurs during pregnancy in the legs is better in control when I use Salli. On Salli SwingFit I can roll in my office to the printer, reach for papers and things on shelves, just like I did before my baby bump.

I recommend Salli during pregnancy on the basis of the above-mentioned facts.

Lennart Mainow is 71 years old manager of a Swedish company that produces height-adjustable work tables. Mainow practices what he preaches. During a work day he sits for only three hours. Despite this, a couple of years ago his doctor discovered an alarmingly high PSA value. Was he developing a prostate cancer? In addition to general health tips, Lennart was told to use loose clothing. He should also avoid sitting for long periods of time, because this increases pressure on the male genitals.

On an expo where he displayed his own products, Lennart started talking to a sales person from Salli Systems. Lennart Mainow decided to try Salli Saddle Chair at work.
– I sat on the chair for about a year and on the next control the values had improved. Danger was over.

Lennart laughs at himself a bit, because after this he changed back to a traditional chair. On the following doctor’s check-up, his values had gotten worse again. He claims he hadn’t changed his lifestyle, food habits or the way he dresses. He had only changed the chair.
– It might be a coincidence, says Lennart, and admits that from now on he will hold on to the Salli chair.
